Yoga Nidra Challenge: 21 days of relaxation

The official Yoga Nidra Challenge took place from January 1-21, but you can still request the workbook to do the challenge at your own pace!

Yoga nidra is a form of deep relaxation at all levels. Relaxation is an important part of a healthy lifestyle – in yoga, it is said that five points are essential to maintain a healthy body and mind:

  1. Sufficient exercise
  2. Healhty diet
  3. Proper breathing
  4. Positive thinking
  5. Regular relaxation

However, we often forget to incorporate relaxation into our daily routine. If we do relax, we often still engage in some activity. As a consequence, we never allow ourselves to relax completely and our body cannot recover fully of all efforts and our mind doesn’t calm down.

Therefore, it is important to learn how to take time for proper relaxation. Yoga nidra helps you to develop the skill of relaxing both physically and mentally. Through deep relaxation, your body and mind will be more balanced, which ultimately helps you to be more productive, healthier and happier.
