COMING SOON: Yoga Trekking Nepal 2021 to Langtang

We are making plans for a yoga trekking in fall 2021! Of course, under better circumstances than now, as COVID is still pushing the boundaries of life in Nepal.
We are excited to offer you the Langtang-Gosaindkunda-Helambu trekking in October/November 2021. Sahadev and Nicky will guide you through this yoga trekking, that shows you Nepal at its best.

The Langtang & Gosainkunda Helambu trek is a trek that offers a high variety of stunning landscapes and biodiversity in Langtang National Park which is the first Himalayan National Park (1976). It takes you through river banks, forests, open fields, hills, mountain lakes and – of course – snowy peaks. Langtang is a narrow valley that lies just south of the Tibetan border. In Tibet, ‘Lang’ means ‘yak’ and ‘Tang’ means ‘to follow’. The name Langtang can be interpreted quite literally because the yak still inhabits the valley. The trail is sandwiched between the main Himalayan peaks such as Langtang Lirung (7246m.) to the north and a slightly lower range of snowy peaks like Gang Chhenpo (6388m.)Naya Kangri (5846m.) and Dorje Lakpa (6966m.) to the south.

After 2015 earthquake – there was a huge devastation which swept away the Langtang village – now the langtang village is shifted to near surrounding and almost reconstruction phase is complete with great contributions and efforts from both international level and local communities.

A one day hike from Kyangjin Gompa is full of worth providing chance to explore monasterycheese factory, alpine climatic experience and Langtang full range.

For a day hike; there can be lots of option whether youcan hike to Kyangjin Ri (4773m.) or Tserko Ri (5033m.) or a long way to Langshisha.

The Gosaikunda part of the trek takes you past the sacred Gosaikunda lakes which are very important for both Hindu- and Buddhist people. After an incredible view of the lakes with some of the tallest mountains in the world decorating the horizon you will follow a trail that takes you into a lush Rhododendron forest and all the way back to Kathmandu.

Open to all levels and ages, this tour is for those who love all kinds of adventures and enjoy being active.

The yoga trekking will be organized by our guide Sahadev Rana Magar and yoga teacher Nicky Brouwer ( We have set the following dates, under the condition that corona rules allow to travel safely: October 29-November 13, 2021.
